As 2020 comes to an end, we reflect on the success of this newsletter. The past decade (yes, we’ve been around that long) was great as we heard from our members about their success, they experienced utilizing our reports.
With well over 2,000% in potential gains logged for 2020 we can’t help but be excited for the potential of the 2020’s decade.
We just looked at a public list of the day’s top gaining stocks. Six of those ten were in the biotech sector. Today was not an anomaly, biotech has dominated the top gainers list quite a bit and most of these dynamic stocks are listed on the NASDAQ.
That is why we focus on the biotech sector and the NASDAQ, not exclusively, but a good portion of our reporting falls within those parameters.
Some of the companies we report to you have been under our watch for years before we talk about them. We report to you as the technical, fundamental overall picture presents a potential near-term gain with long term prospects. With biotech and pharma we enjoy reporting positive progress with their clinical trials as they achieve milestones along the way.
As we discussed earlier, the biotech/biopharma sector is coming into its own. There are hundreds of NASDAQ companies working on cures and treatments for some of the most insidious human conditions. Diabetes, cancer, and pulmonary indications are huge potential markets and the number of companies developing treatments for them are many.
Those companies working on “orphan drugs” for rare diseases or indications get our attention as well because no one knows what broader use those treatments may eventually lead to. Conversely, biopharma companies that are developing effective treatments for acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) due to covid-19. Once covid-19 is gone, those same treatments may help those cases of ARDS that are independent of covid-19.
We will continue to report on biotech stocks, of course, but we also keep close tabs on other exciting sectors such as alternative energy, electric vehicles, junior miners, cannabis/hemp, and new/disruptive tech. These are sectors we look toward for high growth in the coming decade.
And we always have an eye out for oversold companies where their stock is trading below book, at a fraction of the company sales, with low P/E values, and other technical or financial metrics that indicate potential oversold shares.
