Good day everyone,
The markets took a breather last week but finished strong with both the NASDAQ and the DJIA in the green. The DJIA gave up 6% for the week and the NASDAQ, where we generally work, was down 2.5% on the week.
We believe the downturn occurred for a couple reasons. First, there was turmoil in America with the continuation of civil unrest and the suggestion that Covid 19 cases may be rising in some areas. The second reason, we think the markets took a much-needed pause after overheating. A moment for some investors to grab some gains and evaluate their positions.
The overall trend in the markets still seems to indicate strength.
The biotech sector remains strong and we expect it may continue. The new drugs and technologies being developed around the world can boggle the mind and we believe the myriad of products in development, in clinical trials and new to market could fuel continued investment in the sector.
And we will be there, evaluating the companies with solid technology and indicating near term catalysts that could produce gains for our members.
There are quite a few stocks we’ve been tracking and many of them are in the biotech sector. Some with new medical technology and some with developmental drugs that indicate potential success.
We never like to see the markets drop, ever. However, when it does, we invariably find a few stocks that seem to be oversold as we scour our watch list to find great setup’s for our group.
Right now, we are looking at a handful of stocks and if they continue to look good, with potential to generate gains, we will have a new report available either Tuesday or Wednesday 06/16 or 6/17/20 at market open.
