Last week, and particularly Friday, was rough on all the stock market indices. I hope we’ve seen the bottom and equities regain the values they are due, particularly on the NASDAQ exchange.

The Fed is going to meet this week and determine if they will raise interest rates. It seems to be a foregone conclusion they will advance interest rates by 0.5%. Perhaps more importantly is any statement they make regarding how they will address their fight with inflation for the rest of 2022.

The Fed and the US government have tried various tools to fight inflation in the past including monster interest rate hikes (1980’s) and wage & price freezes (1970’s). Those moves both resulted in recessions. The Great Recession of 2008-2009, though not necessarily caused by inflation, was only turned around by massive government spending, much the same as was done during the recent pandemic. Let’s hope the Fed knows what their doing.

Get ready for a report on a new to our group NASDAQ company operating in the healthcare sector. The company’s value has been impacted by the horrible April the NASDAQ index has experienced, but now looks like it’s beginning to trend. When I did my due diligence on this company my conclusion could be summed up in on word, WAY OVERSOLD.

This company’s revenues are growing, YoY, by more than triple digits (let that sink in) as accretive acquisitions pay off. I also like this company’s exceedingly small share structure, book value, and cash position. Best of all, this dynamic company is currently valued 86% off its 52-week high and I expect it may not stay there for long.
