THE STOCK MARKET IS STRONG!
We have remained bullish on the economy even as some were touting bearish sentiment. We have said that Fed policy, economic stimulus and a waning pandemic would all contribute to a strong economy. We have even inferred the potential for a 40,000 DJIA this decade. The path to an economy on fire may not be a straight line, there are always bumps in the road, but we remain firm in our convictions.
The U.S. is seeing a surge in coronavirus cases and a huge jump in vaccinations. The level of vaccinations will ultimately quell the level of infections but that will still take some time. There are a lot of people yet to vaccinate. In the meantime, we hope all of you stay smart and safe.
Many of you may have likely been having some difficulty searching for value stocks and stocks with upcoming catalysts that may drive the price up. Investors seem to be jumping their preferences all over the place and for short periods of time.
We are still poring over companies looking for the ones that will interest our members, creating enthusiasm, and resulting in benefit. This is what we do all day, every day. We specialize in small cap companies and, as many of you know, small caps aren’t enjoying as much strength as the large cap companies are. We believe this is a temporary condition that will change in the near-term.
There is a small company we have been watching. It has a very tiny float, growing revenues, and significant insider ownership. The company shares are trading at a significant discount to their recent high. These are some the qualities that could set up a nice swing play. We believe if the company can generate investor awareness, and enthusiasm for their continuing revenue growth, the shares could see a triple digit gain.
